Monterrey, December 12, 2024 - Arca Continental held a meeting with startups as part of its Corporate Entrepreneurship strategy through AC Ventures, its investment fund dedicated to catalyzing innovation and fostering collaboration with high-potential and scalable entrepreneurs.

During the “Demo Day” event, organized in collaboration with BBVA Spark, Startup Grind MTY, and MTY Digital Hub, Arca Continental presented its investment strategy to various startups. These companies had the opportunity to showcase innovative solutions to the company’s leadership and address technical questions from Arca Continental’s engineering teams.

The process included an invitation to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, followed by workshops led by Arca Continental experts to address strategic challenges and opportunities. The Demo Day, held at the BBVA Spark venue, brought together six startups that presented their proposals to AC leaders, investors, and key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Additionally, a networking area was created to facilitate interactions between entrepreneurs and the company’s executives.

Arca Continental's Corporate Entrepreneurship strategy focuses on addressing high-impact challenges within the organization through five investment verticals aligned with the company's priorities: digital transformation of the commercial ecosystem, evolution of the proximity channel such as vending and micromarkets, contribution to the development of a sustainable model, transformation of the supply chain, and evolution of recruitment, training, and talent retention processes.

AC Ventures' mission is to create shared value by connecting Arca Continental's business needs and its value chain with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, developing and adopting emerging technologies.

“It is exciting to see the potential of different startups to collaborate with us and reflect our vision by integrating innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. AC Ventures aims to invest in innovative solutions that help us evolve the way we operate, strengthening our sustainable business model,” said Daniel Rodríguez Siller, Director of AC Ventures.
