Monterrey – Nuevo León, April 7, 2025. As part of its sustainable business model, Arca Continental, one of the world's largest Coca-Cola bottlers, together with Coca-Cola Mexico Foundation and in collaboration with Monterrey Water and Drainage Services (SADM), signed an agreement for an investment of 8 million pesos to benefit the city's water replenishment.

The agreement includes the execution of two strategic projects:

- Rehabilitation of the Minas II aqueduct, with a joint investment of 5.9 million pesos, which includes the repair of 2 km of network and at least 20 leaks in the most critical sections, benefiting more than 568,000 people.

- Satellite detection of leaks in the Topo Chico neighborhood, with an investment of 2.1 million pesos by Arca Continental, which will allow the location of non-visible leaks, repair of inspection wells, and improvement of the drainage system with cutting-edge technology.

Regarding this, Juan Ignacio Barragán – General Director of Monterrey Water and Services, stated: "Arca is a socially responsible company, committed to the sustainability of water care, in addition to being one of the leading companies in the history of our state, and we are proud that local companies have this sense of urgency to support works that benefit the citizens."

This collaboration is part of Arca Continental's water security strategy, which promotes efficient use within its operations, returns water used in its production processes to nature, and provides access to water to people through high-impact interventions. These actions not only improve the availability of drinking water but also strengthen the resilience of communities to climate change and promote more sustainable development.

"At Arca Continental, we are committed to working on comprehensive solutions that respond to water challenges collaboratively. This type of alliance allows us to unite capabilities, technology, and long-term vision to care for the most valuable resource we have: water," said José Borda Noriega – Executive Director of Arca Continental Mexico.

With actions like this, Arca Continental reaffirms its commitment to generating value in the communities where it operates and making a positive difference through alliances that promote sustainable development.
